  • Public Relations — Have some spare time? Like to write or edit? Comfortable with computers? Like to investigate and promote? The purpose of this committee is to promote and uphold the purpose, vision and goals of the Foundation by publishing a quarterly newsletter (when funds are available for this endeavor), overseeing the website, creating an informational brochure, or other publications, and by providing a current calendar of all dates and times for meetings, events, and activities being held by the Foundation. The committee is responsible for keeping current all relevant information available to the public as well as an up to date listing of all pool-related community events. This committee will also be responsible for keeping in contact with area radio, television and print media coordinators to ensure that the Foundation events and activities are publicized to the public. The committee is responsible for establishing these contacts and for all materials published and seen in the media concerning the Foundation.
  • Finance — Do you like working with budgets? The purpose of this committee is to uphold the purpose, vision and goals of the Foundation by developing an annual budget.
  • Fundraising — Not afraid to ask for money, be creative, and know how to make the ask? Not just for major donors, but also a leader who can develop a simple, sustainable strategy to get the community engaged in our campaigns and manage a volunteer base of support? Do you enjoy planning events? The purpose of this committee is to uphold the purpose, vision and goals of the Foundation by creating a fundraising campaign and annual event. The committee is also responsible for marketing, soliciting and researching sources for funding in the forms of donations, grants, member dues and in-kind services.
  • Planning and Design — Do you like research and working on your computer? Do you like speaking with folks to get detailed information? Do you enjoy compiling data? The purpose of this committee is to promote and uphold the purpose, vision and goals of the Foundation by working to facilitate the flow of ideas and information concerning all pool planning and design, and any improvements deemed necessary. This committee is responsible for collecting and organizing all comments, ideas and other input from committee members, the community and potential partners to further enhance the amenities and accommodations of a community pool.
  • Community Outreach — Are you a “people person” and like to be creative? The purpose of this committee is to promote and uphold the purpose, vision and goals of the Foundation by planning informal gatherings for Foundation members and guests, recruitment of volunteers, and making arrangements for refreshments at member meetings.
  • We are also looking for a Volunteer Coordinator — Are you a people person? Do you enjoy organizing a group of people? Are you passionate about swimming and love to talk about it? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this might be the position you have been looking for!
